Navigating the Home Feed

Understanding Your Home Feed

The home feed is your main hub for all Grande Alert content.

Feed Tabs

• Latest — Shows all posts from every user, sorted newest first. This is the default tab.
• Following — Shows only posts from users you follow.

Switch between tabs by tapping the tab name at the top of the feed.

Pull to Refresh

Swipe down on the feed to refresh. Stale cached data appears instantly while fresh content loads in the background.

Realtime Updates

New posts appear in real-time thanks to Supabase Realtime subscriptions. You don't need to refresh manually — new content streams in automatically.

Bottom Navigation

• 🏠 Home — Your main feed
• ✏️ Compose — Create a new post
• 🔔 Notifications — View your notifications
• 🏆 Leaderboard — Check the rankings
• 👤 Profile — Your profile and settings
